Morning to the morning after

One day, end to end

How a wedding day here tends to run, from the first cup of tea to breakfast with everyone still in the building.

  1. Morning

    Guests start arriving

Begin at your own pace, with the people who matter most. Guests staying over take a slow morning while the grounds fill up for photographs.

  2. Ceremony

The moment it all builds to

The Hawthwaite Suite for up to 120, the lighter Terrace Room, the courtyard gazebo if the weather holds, or the Champagne Room for something smaller. Every option has a plan B.

  3. Drinks

    Out on the grounds

The covered terrace gives everyone somewhere to stand with a glass in hand whatever the sky is doing. The lawns open up for photographs.

  4. Dinner

    The wedding breakfast

One kitchen, one team, no outside caterers. Three courses your guests will still be talking about the next day, and your own wine on the table without a corkage charge.

  5. Evening

    The licence runs late

The bar is private and staffed by our own team. Nobody is ushered out while the night still has life in it, and the resident DJ is included from Silver upwards.

  6. The next morning

    Everyone's still here

No taxis at midnight and no scattered goodbyes. Come down to a room full of your own people and relive the day over breakfast.

A look around

A wedding as unique as your love story

Roanhead Beach · South Lakes

The lawns open up for photographs, and if there is a golden-hour run to the beach, this is when it happens.

The evening ends when it is ready to end, not when the licence says it has to.
